Award Fields

Award Fields for Beauty Recognition

Choose the Field. IBA Determines the Distinction.

IBA recognizes beauty achievement through six clear fields designed for the full beauty ecosystem: people, brands, products, salons, centers, manufacturers, supply chain partners, and industry service organizations.

One entry. One primary subject of recognition. Three possible outcomes.

How to Choose

Start with What You Want Recognized

IBA does not ask applicants to choose an award level. Applicants select the field that best describes the subject of recognition. The final result is determined by IBA after review.

A founder, brand, product, salon, manufacturer, or service provider may each be submitted as a separate entry when each subject deserves independent consideration.

You choose the recognition field. IBA determines the level of distinction.
01

Entry Subject

Identify the person, brand, product, institution, manufacturer, or service organization being submitted.

02

Recognition Field

Select the field that best fits the primary subject of the entry.

03

Final Distinction

IBA reviews the entry and determines Nominee, Gold Award, or Grand Gold Award.

Multiple Identities

One Applicant May Have More Than One Story to Recognize

A beauty founder may enter as a professional. The same founder may also submit a brand. That brand may submit one or more products. A salon group may submit the institution, its founder, and selected service concepts as separate entries when each subject requires independent recognition.

Result Levels

Applicants Select the Field, Not the Award Level

IBA maintains a simple three-level outcome structure. This keeps the applicant journey clear while preserving the authority of the review result.

Outcome 01

Nominee

A formal recognition status for entries accepted into the IBA record after review.

Outcome 02

Gold Award

A higher distinction for entries demonstrating strong merit, presentation, relevance, and contribution within the selected field.

Award level wording must be used accurately according to the result issued by IBA.
