A controlled guide for using Nominee, Gold Award, and Grand Gold Award marks across digital, print, website, social, product page, retail, and packaging references.
Core Principle
The Mark Belongs to the Recognized Entry
IBA marks may be used only for the entry, recognition field, award year, and distinction level issued by International Beauty Awards™. The mark must not be transferred to another product, service, branch, professional profile, campaign, subsidiary, or future release that was not part of the official record.
Using a mark correctly protects the recipient, the audience, and the meaning of the IBA recognition record.
Clear Space
Keep the Mark Visibly Independent
Maintain a clear area around the mark so it is not crowded by claims, product names, logos, icons, decorative elements, or retail labels. The mark should be read as an official recognition reference, not as a graphic embellishment.
Minimum Size
Legibility Comes First
DigitalUse a display size where the level, IBA identity, and year remain readable on standard screens.
PrintCheck proof copies before production. The mark should not become a decorative seal without readable recognition information.
PackagingKeep the mark directly tied to the recognized product and avoid placement that implies broader approval.
PresentationUse the mark beside the recognized entry name, not as a general sponsor or authority logo.
Color Versions
Use the Official Version Issued for the Context
Use the full-color version where the background is calm and the mark remains clear. Do not adjust hue, contrast, shadows, borders, or internal typography.
Light-background versions should appear on ivory, white, champagne, or neutral surfaces with enough contrast and clear space.
Dark placements require strong readability. Avoid busy photography, low contrast, heavy filters, or overlays that hide the level or IBA identity.
Use monochrome versions only where issued for the relevant mark. Do not create unofficial single-color versions by tracing or rebuilding the artwork.
Digital Use
Link to the record where available
For websites, digital brochures, e-commerce pages, and profiles, link the mark or statement to the official registry record or verification page where available.
Print Use
Proof before production
In printed materials, preserve official artwork, award year, contrast, and clear space. Do not let finishes or paper colors make the mark unreadable.
Website Use
Keep it beside the recognized entry
Use the mark near the recognized product, brand, professional, center, company, or service. Avoid site-wide placements unless the full site entity is recognized.
Social Media Use
Use accurate captions
Captions should include the issued level, recognition field, and award year. Avoid captions that imply certification, medical endorsement, or assured outcomes.
Product Page Use
Connect to the exact product
For product entries, place the mark on the recognized product page and avoid applying it to formulas, variants, bundles, or future launches without separate records.
Packaging Reference Caution
Respect commercial context
Packaging use must remain entry-specific and should not imply regulatory approval, laboratory testing, clinical validation, legal compliance, or product efficacy certification.
Boundary Statement
Use the Mark as an Honor, Not as Approval
Award marks must not be used to imply regulatory approval, clinical validation, product efficacy certification, medical endorsement, legal compliance, professional licensing, or world ranking.
