Review Framework
IBA reviews each entry through a structured recognition framework designed to identify, record, and communicate achievement across the beauty industry.
No audience polling. No purchased award level. One category-based review framework.
Direct Answer
International Beauty Awards™ reviews entries through a structured honor-based framework. Each entry is considered within its selected recognition field using submitted materials, category fit, presentation quality, public references where available, professional context, relevance, and contribution. IBA determines the final distinction level as Nominee, Gold Award, or Grand Gold Award.
What Review Means
IBA review is designed to recognize beauty achievement within the International Beauty Awards™ framework. The review process considers the subject of recognition, the selected field, the quality of the submitted record, public references where available, professional context, presentation, relevance, and contribution.
IBA recognition is not a substitute for legal, medical, regulatory, product examination, or professional qualification systems. It is a formal honor-based distinction created to record and communicate merit in the beauty industry.
IBA reviews beauty achievement for recognition. It does not replace technical, legal, medical, regulatory, or professional compliance systems.
Review Flow
The review pathway keeps each entry attached to its selected field, its submitted record, and the level of distinction determined by IBA.
IBA receives the applicant’s entry information, recognition field, profile materials, images, links, and supporting references.
The entry is checked for basic completeness, clarity, and whether essential information is available for review.
IBA considers whether the selected recognition field matches the primary subject of recognition.
The entry is reviewed within the expectations of its selected field, such as professional, brand, product, salon, manufacturing, or industry service.
IBA considers the entry through core dimensions including category fit, substance, expression, relevance, and contribution.
The final level is determined by IBA: Nominee, Gold Award, or Grand Gold Award.
Recognized entries may receive official documentation, award mark guidance, certificate reference, registry placement, and approved wording where applicable.
Evaluation Dimensions
Dimensions give the review a structured lens while allowing different fields to be understood on their own terms.
Does the entry belong in the selected recognition field? Is the primary subject clear: person, brand, product, salon, center, manufacturer, supply chain company, or service organization?
What has been presented to support the entry? This may include profile information, brand story, product details, visual assets, public references, service scope, portfolio, market context, or supporting documents.
How clearly and professionally is the entry presented? IBA considers the quality of communication, visual identity, official materials, public-facing presentation, and overall coherence.
What is the entry’s relevance within its market, client base, audience, professional field, category, or wider beauty industry context?
What role does the entry play in the beauty ecosystem? Contribution may appear through expertise, innovation, service quality, brand building, manufacturing capability, education, technology, media, or business enablement.
Field Context
IBA does not review every entry through the same narrow lens. A professional, a product, a salon, and a manufacturer contribute to the beauty industry in different ways. Each entry is considered according to the nature of its selected recognition field.

Considered through professional profile, expertise, body of work, public presence, contribution, career context, and submitted portfolio materials.

Considered through brand identity, positioning, market presence, product or service universe, communication quality, public references, and category relevance.

Considered through product presentation, intended use, design, market relevance, public materials, supporting references, and applicant-provided product information.

Considered through service concept, client experience, environment, team presentation, public profile, local or regional relevance, and institutional quality.

Considered through capability, service scope, manufacturing role, supply chain value, production or R&D context, partner relevance, and operational presentation.

Considered through service value, client context, expertise, platform or methodology, industry contribution, case references, and enablement role.
Distinction Levels
Applicants do not select the award level. The final distinction is determined by IBA after review. This keeps the system clear for applicants while preserving the authority of the recognition result.
A formal recognition status for entries that meet the IBA recognition threshold and are accepted for official consideration or record placement.
A higher distinction for entries that demonstrate strong merit, strong presentation, clear category relevance, and meaningful contribution within the selected field.
The highest distinction within the IBA framework, reserved for entries that show exceptional strength, clarity, relevance, and contribution across the review dimensions.
Review Integrity
IBA review is structured to avoid confusion between recognition and technical qualification. The final result reflects IBA’s honor-based evaluation within the selected recognition field. It does not guarantee commercial performance, legal compliance, product performance, medical outcome, regulatory authorization, or professional qualification.
IBA results are not determined by audience participation, social reach, or popularity ranking.
Applicants do not purchase Nominee, Gold Award, or Grand Gold Award status. IBA determines the final level after review.
IBA recognition must not be presented as technical, legal, medical, regulatory, or professional authorization.
Award wording, marks, certificates, and references must be used according to the issued result and IBA brand guidance.

Responsible Recognition
IBA recognition is an award-based honor within the International Beauty Awards™ framework. It is designed to recognize and record beauty achievement through submitted materials, category relevance, public references where available, and professional context.
IBA recognition does not function as lab analysis, regulatory authorization, clinical or medical endorsement, product-performance credentialing, professional licensing, or legal-compliance attestation.
